Does anyone else go through random food obsessions?? Where you will find some weird combination and just eat and eat and eat it until you can’t stand its sight or smell… just me? Some of my more recent phases have been dijon mustard, I put it on everything! even ate it directly off a spoon, dates stuffed with almond butter, and for the last few weeks its been ‘stuffed mushrooms’
all you do is stuff a mushroom with a giant scoop of avocado and then top with a large sprinkle of nutritional yeast. Have you ever had nutritional yeast? I tried it for the first time about 3 years ago and it was LOVE at first taste, if you haven’t tried it please please go out and buy it. Nutritional yeast has a somewhat nutty cheesy taste and is a great vegan cheese substitute, I love it sprinkled on popcorn, salads, noodles… well really anything and everything, give it a try and let me know what you think 🙂
Of course, because of its name: nutritional yeast, it has some health benefits associated with it so thats an added bonus for sure! Nutritional yeast is loaded with B-vitamins, folic acid, selenium, zinc and protein. It’s low in fat, gluten free and is a great addition to any diet.
